ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS IN STEAM POWER STATION LEVEL 2 (BATCH#3)
OVERVIEW
This course is dedicated for Electrical Engineers who will operate steam power stations, particularly coal burning plants. Since electric energy production in Indonesia currently is dominated by coal burning plants (about 60%) and this domination will still exist in the next five years. From the view point of electrical engineering, control and protection in coal burning plants is the most sophisticated problem among power plants.
OBJECTIVE
This course is designed for Electrical Engineers who will operate steam power stations using coal as fuel. After following this course engineers hopefully will be able to operate a steam power stations from the electrical site which cover problems of operation, maintenance and trouble shooting.

PREREQUISITES
Participants should be undergraduate electric power engineer with 2 years experience in operation and maintenance. But any experienced engineer who has the same level of knowladge and experiance are welcome.
