DESCRIPTION:OVERVIEW\nUntuk dapat menyalurkan energi listrik dalam jumlah besar dan menempuh jarak yang jauh diperlukan saluran tegangan tinggi. Di ujung-ujung saluran tegangan tinggi di dapat transformator yang berfungsi menaikan tegangan dan menurunkan tegangan. Kursus ini akan membahas masalah proteksi dari transformator penaik tegangan dan transformator penurun tegangan. Saluran tegangan tinggi yang menghubungkan 2 (Dua) transformator ini umumnya melalui daerah terbuka yang rawan samberan petir\, sehingga banyak mengalami gangguan.
